Film “On the Brink” with introduction by John Seed & local organic dinner.

“On the Brink” , the 2003 film with David Attenborough, David Suzuki, Olivia Newton-John and Jack Thompson was produced and directed by John Seed, the founder and director of the Rainforest information Centre in Australia (www.rainforestinfo.org.au).

Come and join us for an inspiring introduction and movie by John Seed and a yummy local organic dinner made from the vegies grown in our community garden at 241 Bondi Road and from our weekly vegie box from FoodConnect!

John Seed is an accomplished songwriter and film-maker and lecturer. He has produced five albums of environmental songs and numerous films. In 1995 he was awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) by the Australian Government for services to conservation and the environment. From 1984 to the present he has travelled around the world each year with roadshows raising awareness about the plight of the rainforests and raising funding for their protection.

Suggested donation to cover our costs: $7 for Transition Sydney members and $12 for others (Transition Sydney membership available on the night for $10)
